Call 111 when it's less urgent than 999

If you need medical help fast, but it isn't a 999 emergency, you can now call NHS 111.  NHS 111 will assess you, provide advice and direct you straight away to the local service that can help you best.  NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and calls are free, including from mobiles.

Jill sees patients by appointment on Wednesdays. New booking appointments are taken from 6 weeks.

Community Nurses

The District Nurses assess and supervise treatment in your home following referral by the doctor or the hospital. They can be contacted by telephoning 01484 221600. Please note that this is not an emergency service.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitors advise on the health of children. They hold the clinics outlined below or may visit you at home. They can be contacted by ringing 01924 351573.

The drop in 'one stop shop' baby clinics are held at the following locations:

Savile Town Sure Start Childrens Centre (Pentland Road) Tuesdays 1pm to 2pm 

Thornhill Lees Sure Start Childrens Centre (Brewery Lane) Wednesday 1pm to 2.30pm

Thornhill Sure Start Childrens Centre (Edge Top Road) Thursday 9am to 10.30am
